Richard N. Child’s 30 year professional career includes 16 years at MasterCard International, serving four years as executive vice president. In addition to his corporate responsibilities, he also served as president of the Latin America and the Caribbean Region. He had overall responsibility for the development of the MasterCard brands and family of programs and services in the region. He was a member of MasterCard’s Internal Executive Committee and also served on the Latin America and Caribbean regional board of directors of MasterCard International and Maestro Latin America.
His areas of expertise include advertising, marketing, operations, technology, sales and distribution, risk management, and franchise management. Richard is an advisor to various companies and has served on the boards of directors of Certegy (NYSE: CEY), USA; NetSpend (Austin, Texas), CardNet (Dominican Republic), Checksmart (Dublin, OH), Argencard (Argentina), Redecard (Brazil) and Rêv Asia Pacific (Auckland, NZ).
Currently, a consultant to the financial and technology industry, Richard serves on a number of boards of directors and is an advisor to various companies. His areas of expertise include advertising, marketing, operations, technology, sales and distribution, risk management, and franchise management.
